Zeiss Cinemizer To FPV Goggles Full Mod
thingiverse
The Zeiss Cinemizer HD video glasses are an excellent choice for high-definition FPV when connected to high-definition video downlink systems such as the Connex ProSight/FPV Blue. They also work well for side-by-side 3D FPV with a stereoscopic camera like the Blackbird2/Nerd 3d/EMR Labs on the drone. However, the glasses are not as comfortable or convenient as the Fatshark/SkyZone/Aomway-Commander goggles, which are specifically designed for FPV. This modification allows you to turn your Cinemizers into a grab-and-go 5.8GHz HD FPV headset with no cables. For high-definition FPV, only one HDMI cable is needed from the HD receiver to the modified Cinemizers. The parts required for this modification include: 1. Zeiss Cinemizer Video Glasses 2. Bolle Y6 Ski Mask 3. GTeng or Boscam 5.8GHz receiver watch from Banggood or Aliexpress 4. Eachine (orange) DVR from Banggood or Aliexpress 5. 3-way dip-switch 6. SMA (female) "pigtail" cable 7. Some 26AWG or thin rubber-insulated wires (different colors preferred) 8. 3.5mm AV jack (4-part pin) with a cable - optional, if you prefer to cut the provided AV cable 9. Sugru (molding "rubber" clay) 10. Hot glue Tools required: - Precision Phillips screwdriver - Pen knife - Soldering iron with solder and flux - Hot glue gun - Dremel rotary tool or a mini hand saw.
