I designed these eyepiece caps for my Zeiss axioskop 40 , which has standard Zeiss axioskop eyepieces (article 45 50 43) with a 43mm external diameter. This eyepiece cap has 44 mm outer diameter to have a tight fit and accommodate for the print imperfections. I also made two chamfers - one at the top is purely cosmetic and makes the cap look nicer. The internal chamfer makes it easier to fit the cap on the eyepiece and reduces the damage to the rubber part from the sharp edges. The cap also fits my Amscope stereo microscope with a slight slack but serves as a perfect dust cover. Print with the flat surface down.
