Zebra Knight (Multi Color Torture Test)

Human: Inspired by my Organic Chess set design, I'm fascinated by the paradox of a chess piece that's simultaneously black and white. However, as expected, bringing this concept to life has proven to be a technical hurdle. So far, I've attempted to print using an M3D Quad printer with limited success and a modified setup featuring a Diamond Hotend. Both printers struggle with the color blending issue known as the toothpaste effect. This results in the head coming out darker on the side receiving black filament. Recently, I've been experimenting with clear filament to reduce the amount of black, but satisfactory results remain elusive. I'm publishing this design as a challenge, hoping that other multi-color rigs may be better equipped to achieve the necessary color separation for clear black and white. Update 2/1/2020: A revised version has been uploaded, with improved mesh accuracy thanks to Marko Klemenčič's expert editing. For optimal results, I recommend printing at a 200% scale. If you possess a multi-color/multi-material rig, I encourage you to give this print a try. Please share your findings and any special techniques you employ during the process. Good luck!
