When I step off the curb, my eyes automatically drift to my phone, and then I glance down at the pavement where I spot a Yellow-white Zebra. I quickly fire up Google to learn more about this unusual sight and discover that yellow and white stripes have become a standard in Moscow since 2014. It's likely that these colors make crossing the street safer for both drivers and pedestrians by increasing visibility.
