After a nasty crash with my scooter, this part of my RC car was torn to shreds. Thanks to having a 3D printer at home, I thought, why not design a replacement and print it out? So I sat down and used Solidworks to sketch it out, determined to make it work. Note: the screw holes don't fit perfectly, so I recommend drilling them out with a 2 mm drill bit to get a snug fit. I also drilled a hole into the centre of the part to support an antenna tube. Printed with PLA which isn't the strongest material on earth, I know that much, and it probably should be printed in nylon if I had any on hand. However, PLA holds up quite well. The choice is yours.
