I shoot with various film cameras, and alot of the times these cameras no longer have working accurate lightmeters, so I ended up buying a ZB-M08 lightmeter from AliExpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001349886750.html). I found that the included mounting hardware didn't fit some cameras, and I didn't like using the screw hole at the bottom to attach the lightmeter, so I created this solution. Requirements: - 1x A - Back Plate.stl - 1x B - Front Plate.stl - 1x C - Hotshoe Mount.stl - 1x D - Mounting Bar.stl (I recommend printing this standing up, but you can print it laying down if you don't have adequate bed adhesion) - Some super glue How to assemble: 1. Print all the necessary parts. I recommend printing at the highest precision possible and with 100% infill. You shouldn't need any supports. 2. Identify the front plate (B) versus the back plate (A). The front plate (B) has a smaller "window" compared to the back plate (A). If you can place the plate on the back end (the end with the button) without hitting the button, you've got the back plate (A). 3. Push the mounting bar (D) into the front plate (B). This is a tight fit, so you'll need to really press it in. 4. Put the front plate (B) onto the lightmeter. Make sure the mounting bar (D) is on the bottom of the lightmeter. 5. Now, align the back plate (A) with the lightmeter, and push it onto the mounting bar (D). This is also a tight fit. I found pressing from both ends with my thumb and index finger worked well. 6. Put the hotshoe mount (C) in the hotshoe on your camera. 7. Place the mounting bar (D) into the channel/groove of the hotshoe mount (C). This is purposefully loose. Adjust the location of the lightmeter to your liking. 8. Now that you've found the spot where you want the lightmeter, you can put a generous amount of super glue into the channel/groove of the hotshoe mount (C). 9. Put the mounting bar (D) back onto the channel/groove of the hotshoe mount (C). Make sure the lightmeter is facing the correct way! Apply pressure for 30 seconds to 1 minute to allow the super glue to dry. 10. Go shoot some photos!
