Z80 Membership Card Tall Case
thingiverse
This is a compact enclosure for Lee Hart's Z80 membership Card computer. It's designed to fit snugly inside an Altoids Mint tin. With the addition of the SIO/RAM/CP/M card, the Altoids tin was no longer tall enough to accommodate the stack of cards. So I created one based on the Altoids can, with cutouts for the Micro SD Card and the FTDI serial connection. It's a fantastic retro computer project that brings back memories of older computing systems. Printer Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Infill: 15% Notes: Because there are not many details, I chose to print at .3mm instead of the usual .2mm layer height. But feel free to print at either. Printed it in PLA. Also, when installing the 3-card stack into the case, first place the SIO card on the Z80 card, tilt and insert those two first, then you stack the front panel card onto those once they are in the case. To remove the cards from the case, remove the front panel board first, then tilt the other two as you remove them. It's a bit tricky, but I figured it out, so can you? Cheers. I hope you guys like it. This is a small audience for this device.
