Design and built this octocopter in 2014 and used for aerial photography/videography.Setup used in the prototype:- DJI A2 flight controller- T-Motor 3515-400Kv brushless motors- Turnigy 40A Plush ESCs- Xoar 16x5 PJP-N props- 6S 10.000mAh 20C lipo battery- 2x axis gimbal with Alexmos controller- Aluminium frame with carbon fiber boomsFlight time with 2x axis gimbal and a T3i camera was around 10 minutes.The MTOW (maximum takeoff weight) is around 14Kg.The camera, motors, propellers are from the GrabCAD community (Thanks a lot).
