Hello, It is with great pleasure that I share my last job, the Z40. This 40 mm grenade launcher was created entirely on my own at my amateur level. The Z40 comes with several improvements over its predecessors. The space between the barrel and body has been reduced for better performance. A new 42mm cannon has also been added to accommodate larger grenades. The trigger mechanism has been improved, featuring a wider support area, increased strength, and a longer percussion stroke. A critical component of the Z40 is the Lock, which features a stud for the spring, making assembly easier. The required materials for building the Z40 are minimal. Two 4x40 countersunk head bolts, one 4x30 countersunk head bolt, and two compression springs (approximately 6 mm in diameter and 25 mm long) are all that is needed. To ensure successful printing of the Z40, several tips should be followed. The print medium option must be activated with an edge or a raft to achieve optimal results. When printing the barrel, it's essential to orient it vertically with the entry upwards, which will result in a smooth finish on the base of the grenade. Additionally, support options everywhere and a minimum fill rate of 20% should be used. When assembling the Z40, several steps must be followed. First, insert the springs into their designated recesses and apply a small amount of glue to secure them in place. The Lock must be positioned on one side with support options activated everywhere, ensuring a 100% filling rate. Next, assemble the left and right sides using the 4x40 bolts, taking care not to overtighten. In terms of mounting the Z40, several tips are worth noting. When assembling the tail detent axis, use a steel nail with a diameter of 1.5mm and cut it to 16mm long. Then, assemble the left and right sides using the 4x40 bolts in the two holes closest to the barrel.
