Z18 Warhammer 40k Chainsword - supportless assembly

Been fascinated with 40k for about a year now, so decided to design my own scaled-down chainsword - purely as a work of fan art and cosplay fun. **Getting Started** To bring this concept to life, I relied on a z18 printer to handle the task. *The Print Details* All parts were printed at 300 microns with 3 shells, each boasting a 2% infill rate. I took extra care to print the handle, utilizing 4 shells and 10% infill density - given its critical strength requirement. **Assembling the Parts** Once printing was complete, the various components slid seamlessly together. To provide additional support and stability, gorilla glue was applied before allowing it to set in place. The end result? My very first iteration is a sleek black model that's undergone a touch of metallic magic via drybrushed paint.
