Alternative versions of the wobble arrester are available, including a Z-axis floating nut design by Bophoto (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052). Since I lacked a 7mm pin, I opted for this modification using 1mm brass rods. To learn how to assemble it correctly, check out the original designs by twotimes and Bophoto at their respective pages.
