Z Upper panel For BS01 & idbox!

For BS01 & idbox! This data is the same as what I uploaded to Facebook in 2016 as "Solid Z-Axis Top Plate." It's a replacement part for the original Z-axis top plate. I've been using it for two years now, and it's sturdy with no signs of wear. Be aware that there might be interference between the head wiring and the Y-axis endstop depending on how you assemble the head. However, printing the heat block sideways is perfectly fine. Here are some notes from back then: 3D Printer BS01 Series/Idbox Parts Modification 2016-05-22 "Solid Z-Axis Top Plate" Data Content ________________________________________________________ * "Z_Upperpanel-A": Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A (bottom part) * "Z_Upperpanel-B": Solid Z-Axis Top Plate B (top reinforcement part) Purpose _______________________________________________________________ This data aims to improve the rigidity of the Z-axis top plate by increasing its stiffness, thereby reducing unnecessary vibrations between the housing and shaft. This is done in order to enhance print quality. (Installation check performed on BS01+. Please note that this part is not a manufacturer's official product.) Printing about __________________________________________________________ The Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A can be used as a single unit. For reinforcement, please also print the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate B. (NOTE: Before printing the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate B, attach it to the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A using six M3 screws and nuts.) To ensure proper alignment, please always print the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A first and then confirm its dimensions. Recommended print scale is 80% or higher with ABS filament. Please note that the printing data may not be suitable for direct printing in all cases. Depending on your needs, you can adjust the direction of the print job accordingly. Installation _______________________________________________________________ Common Points: * Ensure that the face to be attached to the printer's attachment surface is flat using a file or sandpaper. * Due to increased load on the Z-axis top plate fixing screws, it is recommended to add additional reinforcement around the area where you install the screws (especially for idbox). * If there are any discrepancies in the part's dimensions or if the part is damaged, please do not use it. Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A (Bottom/Upper Part): The Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A can be used as a single unit. For reinforcement, please also print the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate B. It is recommended to replace the M4 screws that hold the shaft with longer ones, about 5mm longer than the original ones. Installation Procedure: * Installation is done in the same way as the original top plate (replace it with a new one). * The concave and convex parts are on the bottom face, and the nut insertion holes are on the upper face. * After installation, check that the distance between the two Z-axis shafts on the outside is approximately 98.00mm (90mm + 8mm shaft diameter) using a caliper before moving the head. * If the dimensions are not correct, unlock the axis adjustment in Repetier-Host and set the X-Y scale to the ratio of 98.00/(current dimensions). Then reprint the part. * After checking the width around the top plate attachment area, also check that the lower shaft width is approximately 98.00mm. If it's not correct, adjust the lower shaft fixing screws to align the two shafts in a parallel manner. Solid Z-Axis Top Plate B: Set the print scale to the same as the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A. Before attaching it to the printer, attach six M3 screws and nuts to the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A. The concave and convex parts are on the upper face. Do not forget to insert two printer attachment nuts into the Solid Z-Axis Top Plate A side beforehand.
