Z Sync Belt Tensioner

thingiverse

This is a straightforward belt tensioner for the Z-sync modification on 3D printers. Specifically, it's designed for the CR-10S pro model. To complete this project, you'll need to obtain the following additional components: 2: 4mm ØX 10 mm long bolts 2: T-nuts for aluminum extrusion (you should have extras with your printer) 1: A ball bearing from a fidget spinner or print out a plastic bearing Print out the necessary parts (the washer is not included in the print) and assemble them by hand. You can use crazy glue to secure everything if you like. Next, press the fidget spinner bearing onto the stud. Add the washer over the bearing. Insert this assembly into the base of the tensioner. Screw the base to the top of the extrusion. Adjust the tension using the slotted holes and screws. That's it! This modification is incredibly easy.
