After downloading and printing this tool, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:53870, I realized that having this wrench was essential for effectively tightening and loosening the Stop Screw lock nut.\nThe design allows ample clearance within the wrench shape, making it possible to set the Z gap without needing to remove the wrench.\nThe first printed copy needed some hand-touchups to eliminate imperfections in the hex.
