Z stop Adjuster - Max Micron (Prusa i3 clones)

This is a Z stop adjuster designed specifically for use with Max Micron Prusa i3 Clone printers that feature 20mm aluminum extruded frames. The performance of this component has exceeded expectations, working even better than initially planned. To successfully install the Z stop adjuster, you will need to obtain an additional M5 screw and a twist mount to securely attach it to the frame. You will also require a M4 round head nut. Please note the following essential details: 1. It is crucial that you lightly file or sand the joint where the Z stop adjuster meets the frame. The design intentionally makes this area slightly tight to ensure smooth movement without excessive bouncing. However, since every printer has unique characteristics, you may need to adjust the amount of filing or sanding depending on your specific print settings. To achieve the best results, it is highly recommended that you use files instead of sandpaper for this process. Be cautious not to remove any material from the inner lip of the arm, as this serves as a critical holding point for the Z stop adjuster. 2. To prevent the cap and nut from shifting or becoming loose over time, apply a small amount of crazy glue to secure them in place. 3. For optimal performance and fit, consider printing the Z stop adjuster at a layer resolution of 0.1 mm or higher.
