This is a Z-stop adjuster designed specifically for the Max Micron Prusa i3 Clone, as well as other 20mm aluminum extruded framed printers. It performs exceptionally well, often surpassing initial expectations. One essential component required for proper installation is an extra M5 screw and the twist mount bracket to securely hold it in place on the frame. Additionally, a M4 round head nut is necessary. Please note that this Z-stop adjuster necessitates some fine-tuning. Firstly, you'll need to lightly file or sand the joint area to ensure smooth movement without excessive bobbling. Since each printer has slight variations, the amount of filing or sanding required may differ based on your specific print settings. It's highly recommended to use files instead of sandpaper for this task due to their superior performance in achieving a precise fit. When handling the adjuster, be cautious not to file off the lip inside the arm, as it serves as a crucial stabilizing component.
