Z Stepper Mounting Block - Ender 3 / CR-10
thingiverse
The stock Creality motor mount attaching to the Z stepper motor to the vertical extrusion is oddly slanted and will result in your motor being tilted, thus causing lead screw alignment issues. I first noticed this doing a dual Z upgrade and even third party versions were slanted. This model fixes that issue. It's just as strong and uses the same screws as the stock part. Also, since it's common to require shimming the motor out for lead screw alignment, I made several versions of the stock mount that increase the distance to the extrusion by 0.5 and 1mm. When mounting, hold your motor flat to the base extrusion first, then evenly tighten the screws holding the T-nuts. You may require slightly longer screws for the 1.0mm longer mount. 3MF and STEP files included.
