Me: I want a stepper damper on my Z axis! The Web: Meh. Me: Okay, I will make something... This is a wrapper to use a stepper damper on the Z axis. I've tried it and it's very nice, especially with a lot of Z hopping. There is a "default" version and a "fancy" version from my modeling guy. Used stepper dimensions: 42-34 I used this T-nuts: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3050607 Instructions: * Disassemble the Z-stepper and threaded rod. * Slide the T-Nuts into the bottom profile and tighten the damper with them. * Screw the case on top of the damper with 2 screws. * Put the stepper into the case and screw it from the top. * Reassemble the threaded rod Done.
