This is a straightforward clip for high-intensity white LEDs that come four on a compact PC board, available for $1.99 from the source listed here and potentially elsewhere: http://www.goldmine-elec-products.com/prodinfo.asp?number=G15554. Four of these exceptionally bright LEDs attached to the Z stage of a ThingOMatic printer on each side of the extruder provide an excellent view of prints, particularly during the initial stages when it's crucial to see how plastic adheres to the platform. These clips may also be useful for other printers or devices that utilize 5mm plywood or comparable materials.
