Z Stage for 2020 Frame Printers
thingiverse
This is a remix of the Z-stage from Ichibey's Sakura Cube: Significantly beefier for stiffness Widened size options for rod spacing to match Replicator 1/2 Z stages if you want to reuse parts (leadscrew alignment does not match though) Added endstop holder to suit Makerbot-style mechanical endstop v1.2 boards (also fits FF and other clone endstops) Sketchup files are attached if you want to edit. Note there was a small manifold error in Z_stage_lower_100 which I have fixed in the STL and SKP, Re-download if you were one of the 8 people who downloaded it before fixing. Instructions I recommend a lot of shells and pretty significant infill for stiffness. Probably better to use PLA unless you're very good at preventing ABS warping. You'll need some M3 nuts, washers, misc screws, and 4x LM10UU bearings. Lower stage suits a NEMA 17 stepper. You can flip the lower and upper if you want. ~1"x1" aluminum angle stock can be attached to the Z carriage for cantilever arms. Just drill holes in the aluminum to match the mounting holes.
