Z-stage fan mount
thingiverse
For better release of the raft layer, blowing on the interface is effective, and it also helps prevent deformation in tall skinny prints. However, blowing directly over the build chamber can cause lightheadedness and may not be safe. Instead, use a salvaged fan from an old PC to improve airflow. To make it more convenient, solder a floppy drive power connector and switch to the fan wire and create brackets that fit in the z-stage opening for easy operation. Consider designing another version hanging off one side of the stage opening and try printing a funnel to direct air flow precisely. Use py2scad module to write design in Python for syntax coloring and access to various Python modules. Add comments to make generated output more readable. Setup fan power source, print brackets, mount fan, and slide them into z-stage opening. Be cautious with tall prints to avoid interference with the z-stepper.
