Z sensor mount locators for TronXY P802MA
thingiverse
To further enhance my series of printer upgrades, I wanted to ensure that I could maintain precise calibration of my z offset. The stock bracket and auto leveling sensor on the P802MA provide adjustment slots for mounting the sensor bracket and on the sensor itself, making it relatively easy to move the sensor out of place in my experience. These slots are indeed useful for fine-tuning adjustments, but once you've achieved a well-calibrated machine, you can simply measure the position of the sensor and bracket and secure them in place. To accomplish this, I designed these custom parts that fill the empty space in those slots. To get started, you'll need two sets of each part; I've included the scad files for your convenience. If you encounter any difficulties fitting the parts together, consider scaling them down to 90-95% or applying light sanding – I opted for a perfect fit by printing at 100% scale. After installing these custom parts, be sure to recalibrate your offsets accordingly.
