I built the original Z-axis stabilizer and was able to see it in action. I assumed that a BS01 version already existed, but I couldn't find one anywhere so I made my own from scratch. Since I didn't have any drawings, I had to rely on measuring with calipers to get the shape right. There aren't really any issues, but since it's mounted at an angle I want to modify it using the actual parts' drawings next time around. The bearing diameter is 6mm, outer diameter is 19mm, and height is 6mm, but the part itself is shorter than the bearing so some of its length sticks out a bit. It works great now, and fortunately my first prototype came together perfectly so I haven't needed to make any improvements since then - it's still used in this rough form. Some veteran users of the BS01 model (which shares the same chassis as idbox) recommend against using this part altogether. What you need to keep in mind is that this part doesn't force the Z-axis into place, but rather gently guides it and keeps the center from moving around. When attaching it, make sure to move the table up and down while tightening the screws so you can see how it's going and do it slowly with some room to spare.
