<figure class="table"><table style="background-color:#F5F5F5;"><tbody><tr><td><p>From scratch created wagons, wheel mounts, coupling which are compatible to model z trains.</p><ul><li>original wheels clip and turn freely</li><li>original couplings can be fit (m.a.e.r-k.l.i.n)</li><li>or use some wire in the hole above the coupling hole</li></ul><p>Mini camera</p><ul><li>Mini Camera should be 4k, has 1 circuitboard, costs about 60€, app is pretty bad.<ul><li>Postprocessing of video with ffmpeg, see below.</li><li>The mini camera circuitboard fits the wagon exactly, switch on top, height must be <19mm, see stl for measurements.</li><li>This can damage the camera. You should know what you are doing!</li><li>Power cable must be modded to be thin (e.g. headphone cables).</li><li>Large wifi antenna must be removed and cable should have maybe 25mm of inner core exposed (i guessed and did not look up wifi wavelengths)</li><li>Connect to mobile phone hotspot nearby and not wifi router 20m away.</li><li>The focus can be changed to like 10cm. The camera lens can be carefully unscrewed. Losen glue by gently squeezing lens from 4 sides (glas pane inside!). </li></ul></li></ul><p>Printing</p><ul><li>prints with Prusa i3, never thought this would work</li><li>minimal supports required, turn some parts upside down to be printable</li><li>probably 0.2mm layer height, don't remember</li><li>use good PLA for the fine details</li><li>needs some advanced slic3r setting to be changed (don't remember which one) to increase detail for the text to be readable</li></ul><p>Post Processing</p><ul><li>Glue front and back wagon parts.</li><li>Some filament is needed for coupling the middle to front and back wagon. This filament can be melted with soldering iron and permanently fixed to the top-part.</li><li>The couplings also use filament pieces.
