A simple Z-probe mount for 12mm inductive sensors perfectly complements any Prusa i3 Rework extruder, with mounting holes expertly positioned in the base. I designed this innovative solution specifically for my CharlStruder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:678089), which boasts two additional mounting holes that enhance its stability. If your extruder base lacks mounting holes, you can always drill them to secure the mount in place. Remember to ensure the mount remains level and properly aligned. Alternatively, you can utilize the existing hole by using longer screws to simultaneously attach both the extruder and the probe mount, eliminating any additional requirements for holes. The Z-probe mount is meticulously designed to function with hole spacings up to 32mm, providing ample versatility. For a version without supports, print without worry - although its supporting capabilities are somewhat restricted due to this lack of structure. Be mindful of your printer's orientation at X=0, Y=0 when positioning the Z probe. You'll need to strategically mount it either left or right of the sensor to position it over the bed while the hot end is home-positioned.
