I'm calibrating my Micromake D1 Z probe. When I'm done with calibration, there's no force on the limit switch. It only takes one wire to rewire. I've managed to achieve a calibration tolerance of 0.01 mm within an 80 mm radius using this method. Another option is to connect without soldering, which requires inverting the signal in the firmware.
