Z-Probe extruder mount for Solidoodle, for auto bed leveling
thingiverse
The lower part of Lawsy's Mk4 extruder is replicated here, with a bracket designed to house a micro servo motor (similar to the 11mm height type from Adafruit, http://www.adafruit.com/products/169). Additionally, an arm is included for fitting the Z-stop switch. To print this part with high infill, refer to Lawsy's design on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:47561). Next, fit the servo motor into the bracket and secure it with glue or tape. The arm should then be printed at low infill and the Z-stop switch screwed onto its larger end. To attach the arm to the servo's pivot, use the provided screw for a secure fit (as shown in the picture). For detailed instructions on wiring the servo and enabling auto bed leveling, visit Soliforum (http://www.soliforum.com/topic/4714/automatic-bed-leveling-and-z-offset-howto-level-23/).
