I'm excited to share my new Z probe for my printer. Frustrated with the fake Chinese BL touch, I decided to build my own Z probe from scratch. I chose a 3.7 gram micro servo (GH-S37A) for its precision and reliability. You can easily find it on AliExpress or Banggood online stores. As the tentacle, I used a sturdy 3 mm guide from an old CD rom that I salvaged from my collection. This serves as a stable arm to hold the probe in place. The optical end stop switch I opted for is also readily available at AliExpress or Banggood. Its high-quality design ensures accurate detection of the printer's Z-axis movement.
