Z Plate support

Z Plate support

I'll be uploading images of supports for my Prusa I3 printer soon. I aimed to enhance the z-axis rigidity without disassembling the XY bed or replacing existing parts, designing angled supports that attach to the M10 y-axis threaded rod and the top of the I3 plate. The upper support also features 8mm holes for use as a filament spool holder. Check out the instructions for BOM needed for this upgrade. This improvement is beneficial in squaring up and adjusting your Y and Z axes too! Instructions: Print off parts, remove M10 nuts from y-axis rods, test fit parts, measure rod length (375mm), cut rod, insert spool holder supports (optional), reassemble with m6 nuts, and tighten all nuts. Finally, print a test part to ensure the Y and Z axes are perpendicular, adjusting if necessary.
