Z Palette - Eyeshadows Magnetic Case
thingiverse
I created a Z palette (an empty magnetic case for single eyeshadows) and I succeeded! :) This project is a remix. I initially used this model: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:59332. Next, I expanded the box while maintaining the existing holes to accommodate 2x3mm magnets. These magnets can be purchased on Ebay. I added two features to the box: - An adhesive mirror that I bought on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Rectangle-Derective-Stickers-Self-adhesive-Cabinets/dp/B01N30CYRA/. - A magnet bottom made from a fridge magnet that I cut. The only drawback is that the lid is somewhat heavy for the 2x3mm magnets' strength, given that I enlarged the box significantly from the original model. However, this doesn't matter - it's actually enjoyable to hold the lid separately as a handheld mirror. I hope you enjoy and remix this project! For those who are curious, the filament used in the photos is pink silk PLA from Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/1-75mm-Silk-Pink-Printer-Filament/dp/B0763TS92N/.
