Z Motor Mounts (Max Micron and other Prusa i3 clones)

Improved motor mounts for Max Micron Printers are now available. My initial acrylic mounts were satisfactory, but over time, one began to sag, causing the rod and lead screw to become misaligned with all other components. This led to Z lead screws binding and premature wear on the nut. To address this issue, I designed new motor mounts featuring stiffeners and stabilizers that are better secured against the frame. An additional hole for another mounting screw has also been included, allowing for a more robust installation. It is highly likely that you won't need to position them directly against the frame uprights; instead, install and square the rods by measuring from the frame to the rod's center at multiple points along its length.
