Improve the Z-Axis stability and make it a breeze to get the two parts exactly parallel since they mate together seamlessly without any guesswork. There's ample space between the parts, allowing you to still tighten the aluminum coupler on both ends. As an added bonus, there are 4 holes on the side that enable you to secure the parts to the tube using bolts and nuts. This is completely optional; I haven't tried it myself yet. You'd probably also want to use some sort of nut trap inside the tube. For 25mm tube, I've included a .ipt file for Autodesk Inventor so you can adjust things if you like. Note: The heights of the round extrusions (the pillars) differ on the upper and lower parts. This is because when printing the first part, I realized the total height was incorrect. So I altered the height on the lower part as a simple fix. Inspired by randysteck's creation: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2531659 Pretty much the same thing with some minor improvements made.
