Z Limiter Zonestar P802Q
thingiverse
On my zonestar, the Z axis tuning has become extremely frustrating due to a major design flaw. The main issue lies in the screw being excessively short and the spring excessively long. This causes the entire mechanism to be misaligned, with the screw positioned at the middle of the dip switch bar instead of the top. In an effort to resolve this problem, I have decided to make some modifications. By extending the screw to its full length, it will now reach the top of the limiter, gaining a few extra millimeters in the process. Furthermore, the screw should be installed upside down so that the head is below the limiter. This should result in a smoother and more efficient tuning experience. The correct assembly order should be: limiter on top, spring in the middle, holder beneath it, followed by the plastic or metal bolt at the bottom. With these adjustments, tuning the Z axis has become significantly easier.
