Z limit switch spacer (for glass bed on Snapmaker)
thingiverse
I wanted to utilize a glass plate as my printing surface since my Snapmaker's aluminum heat-bed started experiencing unevenness - and I prefer the matte finish of glass anyway. Unfortunately, the X-carriage was colliding with the buildplate during Z-homing, so I rapidly designed this spacer (and printed it on my Anet A8 because the glass plate was already in place). It is secured to the X module via a single M4 screw positioned below. Update: Files for 2.3mm, 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm glass thicknesses have been uploaded for general use. A customizable FreeCAD design file is also available.
