Z-limit endstop switch support for FLSUN Cube
cults3d
You just need a M4 and M3 screw and nut, and obviously the switch. The M4 set attach this support to the printer structure at an approximate level. With the M3 set above the switch you can do a fine level calibration. Version 3 I design a new support named "v3" in which the sensor is not directly hitting the surface. This model must be printed in the same direction the .stl file is oriented. The M3 screw hole of the two models is reduced so it is possible to avoid M3 nut if you wont use it. This model was made for the lateral column, for the shortest distance to the bed. the M4 set is for the x shaped column. the M3 screw will be the fine adjust of the height. First you have to do is adjust the position of the support at the height of the bed. Then make the "home" or "z-home" command of your printer, continuously controlling the nozzle to bed height. If the nozzle is too high, screw left; and if it touch the bed, screw right. Version 3 assembly Version 5 I added a "v5", which is the one I'm currently using in my printer. In this case, is made of four parts, and its mounted on a top frame of the printer. Turning the "handle" you can adjust the level of Z. Frame part: is placed with a M4 set on the frame of the printer you must use a 5mm nut for the (5mm) threaded rod. Handle part: it needs a 5mm nut for the threaded rod. Pusher part: it needs a 5mm nut for the threaded rod. Sensor part: You need to screw the endstop with the original M2.5 sets, this part is attached by force in one side carry bar. Version 5 assembly
