Z-Level for Vulcanus V1
thingiverse
I'm building an amazing printer, Vulcanus V1, with a CoreXY configuration. You can check it out here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:821066. I didn't like the clamping method for the Z-endstop on the smooth rod, so I designed my own easy-to-use leveling system parts. To make this work, you need to print three specific parts: the z-rodholder, the z-axis LM8UU Bolt part, and the M4 hex nut holder. The first two will allow you to attach the Z-endstop securely and adjust the Z-height with ease. If desired, printing the third part will give you a better grip on the screw when rotating it by hand. This setup eliminates the need for clamping the Z-endstop onto a smooth rod, allowing for more precise adjustments and improved overall performance.
