Print these two halves, insert filament tabs into the orientation holes, and then press the halves together over your Z lead screw. Press the nozzle of lubricant into the side hole as you move the aid up and down the screw to apply dry lube exactly where you want it without spraying your printer or surfaces. The interior is hollow, allowing you to insert a tissue or paper towel to soak up excess lube instead of letting it drip out. The Z lead screw hole is slightly oversize and oval-shaped to slide easily on the Z screw. I used the WD-40 Specialist Dry Lube PTFE spray can as a model for the insertion hole for the spray tubing, ensuring no leakage occurs and the "spray" is trapped internally to mostly apply to the lead screw. The small holes in each face are for filament tabs; keep them short (3 to 4mm) so that the two halves press together easily and stay closed during use but can be pried apart for removal after use. I chose this method because everyone has spare filament bits laying around, and it works quite well.
