This design concept has been sparked by flurin's original idea. Search for item 55269, a slim z-coupling. Simplify it significantly. Create the coupling section by turning down a bolt or 5mm cylindrical head screw and cutting away a portion of it. Insert a hole for the pin that passes through both parts. Dimensions should be determined based on the shaft and threaded rod diameters. This design was developed with a 5mm stepper shaft and an 8mm threaded rod in mind.
