I loved the Z adjustment knob on my Solidoodle 4 because it made it incredibly easy to accurately adjust the Z stage height with precision. However, when I upgraded to Solidoodle's glass build platform, the Z adjustment knob interfered with the slot in the back and wouldn't go deep enough as a result. This knob design is a direct replacement for the original knob, except that the screw hole is 3 mm deeper, allowing for correct Z stage height adjustments and keeping the knob high enough to fit in the slot seamlessly.
