After installing the upgraded Z screw, I found myself with an extra nut lying around. This sparked an idea to create a quick and easy-to-use Z knob that would make height adjustments a breeze. A 38mm outer diameter is the perfect size for this design, as it ensures no interference with other components (although results may vary depending on individual printer configurations). What I like most about this design is how much more convenient it is to use than reaching down to the lower coupling foot. This new knob makes adjustments a snap. To secure the Z knob in place, I used Loctite, which provides a strong and reliable hold.
