Z hoard, zombie board game counter
thingiverse
!!!update!! I found more of my pieces I was working on a board game idea based on zombie herd mechanics, which utilizes AI to determine hostile behavior. The concept relies on individual zombies reacting similarly to stimuli due to identical basic intelligence, resulting in hordes growing over time and acting as a group. As I developed the game's AI, I realized this principle applies to different groups of people, explaining why they tend to cluster around certain sociological points. When friends say things like "The X is Controlled by the Y" or "All those damn As are the reason for B," they're wrong – it's not a conspiracy. Instead, it's a result of groups having similar cultural, religious, and political upbringings that cause them to make similar decisions, driving them in similar directions. Biology plays some role in decision-making, but geography and culture have a greater impact. Groups with higher cohesion will appear to work together as a collective, even though there is no single intelligence behind it. The same concept driving zombie herd mentality also drives cultural subsets in the same direction – cultural programming causes individuals to act similarly, creating an illusion of group intelligence. I stopped working on my board game and started shitposting on 4chan/pol. This realization led me to share this concept with others, highlighting that the same principles driving zombie behavior also drive human decision-making.
