A Simplified Z Limit Switch Adjustment: An Improved Design This innovative modification allows for rapid and precise adjustments to the Z limit switch, streamlining your printing process. The Leg of this modification screws directly into the X stepper through the X carriage, providing a sturdy connection. Strategically placed slotted holes offer more extensive adjustment options, which can be further fine-tuned using an M3 bolt or screw. To secure the Leg in place, apply sufficient force to tap a thread directly into the plastic. Alternatively, a standard screw should easily cut its own thread with enough pressure. The small foot that attaches to the tip of the M3 bolt also benefits from this approach. The limit switch is secured onto the switch mount using two M2 screws, which are often included with printers. With these adjustments in place, you'll be well on your way to optimized printing results.
