Z-Decoupler (Z-Wing) SFU1204

thingiverse

This is my design of a z-decoupler for the print bed using magnets and steel balls. It can be used with SFU1204 ball-screws. It is simple to print and to assemble. Works like a charm with my crooked ball-screws. When assembled correctly, there should be a tiny space between the outer magnets of the top and bottom wing. The magnets should not touch. Note: If your bed gets tilted too much, the two parts of the wings may open and one of the steel balls can fall out! I mention that here, because the steel balls are electrically conductive, so be careful, if e.g. you have an open electronics compartment underneath the print bed.
