Z-Crank
thingiverse
In "Pimp my MakerBot," part 3 (accessible at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:973 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:958 for parts 1 & 2), I was frustrated by repeatedly adjusting the Z belt to raise or lower the Z stage on my MakerBot. To solve this issue, attach a crank to one of its four M6 threaded rods for easy height control. Assemble the crank by inserting an M3 nut and securing it with a M3x8mm set screw (or longer).
