Standard Coupler Replacement Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 C Rafts: Yes Supports: No Infill: 25% or more Notes: Use a square grid infill pattern, ensuring that each crossing is situated directly under the nut shafts. ABS filament is highly recommended for optimal results, but PLA can also be used successfully. Post-Printing This component is not ready to use immediately after printing! To achieve a perfectly straight 5mm bore, carefully drill from the side featuring the small cylindrical protrusion using a 5mm drill bit, continuing through its entire length. Next, remove this protrusion by cutting it away; its sole purpose was to facilitate accurate positioning of the drill bit. Subsequently, refine the M8 thread by cutting it smooth. Then, insert M3 nuts, centering them with a screw before securing them in place using glue. For added stability and space efficiency, use standard screws instead of grub screws whenever possible on your printer setup.
