I've tried numerous Z axle couplers with the engine and encountered issues with most of them. One major problem was the complete blockage of the Z-axis bolt after tightening the fastener at the Nema 17 engine axis, making assembly nearly impossible. After experimenting with various options, I decided to create my own custom Z axis coupler. This solution eliminates the issue of it falling to the bottom when attached to the Nema 17 axis, instead locking in place about 2mm above it - a feature that greatly simplifies the assembly process. You can print this coupler from PLA like me and it will work flawlessly without requiring any supports.
