This is a DIY guide for attaching a standard stepper rod to a threaded rod using a unique method. A M3 bolt is inserted from the side to hold it securely, as demonstrated in the final image.\nWhat was done involved melting a M3 nut into place within the plastic, allowing the bolt to be screwed in directly. This process was accomplished by heating up the nut with a soldering iron and gently pressing it into the plastic while holding onto the coupler with pliers.\nFeedback is greatly appreciated; please share your experience if you attempt this project, and feel free to provide suggestions for improvements or modifications that would make it even better.\nPrinting Details\n Printer: Velleman K8200\nLayer Settings\n Raftless Printing: Yes\nSupports: Not Required\nResolution: 2 mm per layer\nInfill Density: Solid (100%)\nDesign Notes\nABS is recommended for printing this part due to its wear resistance and flexibility, both of which are critical to its intended functionality.
