### Motorized Carriage for 52mm Spindles Mount a 500W spindle motor to make it a motorized column drill or a small but powerful CNC mill. The motor came with a metal clamp and M6 screws spaced 70mm x 20mm. The linear bearings and trapezoidal screw are arranged so that the KP08 bearing mounts can be screwed on top of SK12 shaft mounts. ### Bill of Materials: - 2x 8mm Shafts (pick a length > 10cm, I used 40cm) - T8 Trapezoidal Screw (same length) - 4x LM8UU 34mm Linear Bearings - 4x SK12 Shaft Mounts - 2x KP08 Bearing Mounts - Brass Trapezoid Nut (with or without spring) - NEMA17 Stepper Motor - 5mm to 8mm Connector (for the T8 to NEMA link) - 4x M3 14mm Screws with Nuts (button head if you use a brass nut with spring) - 4x M6 65mm Screws with Nuts - 8x Zip Ties 2.5mm x 80mm (minimum) Most of these parts came from a single Machifit kit from Banggood. The spindle I had can also be found on Banggood. ### Revisions: 2019-09-17: - Added a blend file for Blender to make any modifications easier. - Fixed mount M6 hole spacing by 2mm (wasn't actually a problem with tolerances assumed).
