Z Brace Pi Zero W & Cam- adjustable, snap-together, toolless mount system
thingiverse
This project enables you to add items directly to your Z brace rods without removing the rods or utilizing them as standalone adjustable building blocks. Specifically designed to mount a Raspberry Pi Zero and a Pi Cam onto the Z brace rods using no tools, nuts/bolts, or other hardware, this is fully printable. You can apply your imagination to utilize them for various purposes. I use 5/16 threaded rod for my rods. Some of these parts are tricky to print due to their reliance on close tolerances. Adjust your settings as needed to achieve the desired results or modify them at will. I hope you find this useful. I've created several additional components to enhance its usability. For example, the hex base can be used to mount various pieces if you don't want to snap it onto your Z brace rods. The Z clips snap down tightly. I've also included a screwdriver recess for easy removal. This is still a work in progress, and I've done my best to test them. They all function as intended for me. Depending on your printer, filament, settings, and overall printer tune, some post-processing may be required. I don't plan to refine these much further since I have other projects I'd like to focus on. However, if there's a glaring error, I'll try to fix it. Feel free to adjust and modify as needed or create additional parts to work with this project. While this is not a remix, I did modify some components from other people's work to save time. Unfortunately, I don't have the original information for those modifications.
