A Thing for Open Source 3D Printers (RepRaps). Do you want to eliminate the BACKLASH and WOBBLE of the Z-axis with just one modification? If so, this Thing is for you! The central part of the box serves to remove the BACKLASH by keeping the two Z axis nuts pushed away from each other while the outside part is used to stabilize the WOBBLE using small springs that keep it suspended around the central part of the box. Try it! PS: For those who own the 3DRAG, the Z-Box has a different footprint than the original design. I designed new supports so we can use it on the 3DRAG. Attention, please! Once you have finished assembling and placed on the bar, the Z-Box must rotate freely without any effort.
